What is Peerlock?
Peerlock is a method to prevent route leaks between large providers.
It works as a declaration that Tier 1 providers do not buy upstream capacity. So non Tier 1 ASNs between Tier 1 ASNs should not be allowed to happen.
Example:
If it does happen, then we can assume that a route leak has happened. In this case AS23456 is suspected to have leaked the route to AS1299.
